Che Wolton Grant also known by his stage name as AJ Tracey is an English rapper and record producer. He is known for his hit EP ‘Secure the Bag!’ which entered the UK Albums Chart at number 13 in 2017.
Tracey was born on March 4, 1994, in Brixton, London to a father of Trinidadian origin and to a mother of Welsh origin. Inspired by his father and mother who were involved in music at their time, Tracey began writing his own rhymes at the age of six.
He started his music career in the early 2010s as he started uploading music online. At that time, he also appeared on several radio stations like NTS, Rinse.DM and BBC Radio One.
In 2012, he released his debut mixtape titled ‘Didn’t Make the Cub’ followed by next ‘The Front’ a year later. His recent album titled ‘Secure the Bag!’ was his massive hit as it entered the UK Albums Chart at number 13 in October 2017. His debut album ‘AJ Tracey’ was released in February 2019.
Apart from that, he has also collaborated with several rappers like Denzel Curry, Rick Ross, ASAP Rocky, Lil B, and many others.
