Alli Webb is an American Entrepreneur who is the Co-founder of Drybar, a large chain of hair salons which focuses on blow-drying and styling hair. As of 2019, Alli Webb net worth is estimated to be more than $100 million.

Born on Boca Raton, Florida, Alli after her high school joined college but didn’t go to class much. With a fashion in her mind, she moved to New York City where her brother Michael Landay was already living there and was working in Nicole Miller’s corporate office. She got a job at the Nicole Miller store in SoHo but to follow her passion, she left her job and trained as a stylist at Toni & Guy.

Webb then had an opportunity to work for the renowned stylist John Sahag in New York. It was there where she developed her primary skills in the business. After some months, she met her husband Cameron Webb and they moved to Santa Monica with an idea of being a home mom.

However, she wanted to be engaged in some work and in 2008 she founded ‘Straight-At-Home’ providing in-home blowouts in Los Angeles. That business grew exponentially and a year later, she approached her brother Michael Landau to be an investor for her new business. The first ‘Drybar’ store was opened in Brentwood, California that year.

The same year with the help of his brother and friends, she was able to raise another $2.5 million to expand her business. They opened three new stores in West Hollywood, Studio City, and Pacific Palisades. After some years, Castanea Partners in Boston invested $16 million financing her business expansion. The company had opened 26 salons in sox states styling more than 50,000 women each month.

Alli’s business expansion grew rapidly and by 2014, there were 43 Drybar locations in eight states. Their revenue grew from $1.5 million in 2010 to $19 million in 2012 and $39 million in 2013.

Webb now has a line of hair care products, hot tools and brushes for sale at all stores as well as Nordstrom stores nationwide. In 2017, Drybar celebrated 7 year anniversary with more than 72 shops in the US and Canada.

In addition to that, Alli Webb has also published a book titled ‘The Drybar Guide to Good Hair for All: How to Get the Perfect Blowout at Home’.
