Clare Bronfman is an American philanthropist, humanitarian, activist and equestrian. She is also known as the daughter of billionaire businessman Edgar Bronfman Sr. Clare Bronfman’s net worth is currently not available at the moment and is under review.
Clare was born on 1979 in New York City to Edgar Bronfman Sr. and Rita Webb. Her parents got married in 1975, two years after Edgar’s divorce from his first wife. Her parents had a rollercoaster relationship. After Clara’s birth her mother Rita Webb asked Edgar for a divorce and they again remarried in 1983. However, they divorced once again and their children lived with their mother in England.
Her equestrian career started at the age of 17 and after three years she began to qualify and compete at the highest level. In December 1999, she competed in the Millstreet Indoor International Horse Show. Although she did not win, she competed with the high profile equestrians like Tim Stockdale, Billy Twomey and Robert Splaine.
In 2001, she got her first victory in International competition. She won the Grand Prix at CSI-A Eindhoven winning the £10,000 prize. She also participated in the World Final of the Samsung Nations Cup series. In 2002, she won the Grand Prix in Rome and at one point she was ranked 12th in the US and 80th overall in the world.
Bronfman is also involved in advancement program “NXIVM”. It is a community guided by humanitarian principles to empower people and answer important questions about what it means to be human. In 2018, Keith Raniere and associate Allison Mack were arrested and indicted on several charges including sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and conspiracy to commit forced labor.
Meanwhile, Clare was also arrested along with three others on charges of racketeering conspiracy. She is also accused of encouraging and assisting in an alleged NXIVM victim’s entry into the US. She was taken into custody and not pleaded guilty in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She was released on $100 million bond.
