John Bradley Holmes shortly known as JB Holmes is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. As of 2018, JB Holmes net worth is estimated to be $15 million.
John was born on April 26, 1982 in Campbellsville, Kentucky. He started playing golf when he was in third grade in Taylor County High School. He then attended University of Kentucky where he helped his team to achieve SEC Title and represented United States in 2005 Walker Cup.
Holmes turned pro in 2005 and was medalist at the 2005 PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament. In 2006, he won FBR Open making him the fastest golfer to reach $1,000,000 in career earnings on PGA Tour. In 2008, he won the FBR Open for the second Tour win of his career and also won the tournament title for the second time in three years.
Holmes who is known for hitting the ball long distances defeated Europe’s Soren Hansen 2&1 to bring United States within one point of clinching Ryder Cup 2008. Even though he lost Holmes and his teammate Kenny Perry were named Kentuckians of the Year 2008 by Kentucky Monthly magazine.
In 2011 PGA Championship in August, he withdrew from the tournament following his brain surgery. After one year, he returned to the PGA Tour and played in 26 events in 2012. He has been playing since then.
Regarding his personal life, John is married to Erica Holmes. They got married in 2013 and are still together.
