Keith Flint was an English singer, dancer, and musician best known as the vocalist and dancer for the electronic music band ‘The Prodigy’. As of 2019, Keith Flint net worth is estimated to be around $15 million.
Flint was born on September 17, 1969, in Redbridge, London to Clive and Yvonne Flint. In the mid-1970s, his parents moved to Springfield, Essex and he went to Boswells School. Flint then moved to Braintree after leaving school.
Keith Flint musical career started in the late 1980s after he first met DJ Liam Howlett at a local club. Flint dropped a mixtape containing his own creations and Flint raved up with emotions. He told Howlett to play his tracks and Flint along with his friend Leeroy Thornhill would dance to them. Dancing on the stage was his biggest role with the band initially but in 1996, he featured as the vocalist on the hit single ‘Firestarter’.
After the success of ‘Firestarter’, Flint helped to record move tracks like Breathe, Serial Thrilla and Fuel My Fire. The 1997 album ‘The Fat of the Land’ was their biggest hit. Altogether, the band has sold more than 30 million records and had seven number one records in Britain. Their recent number one was ‘No Tourists’ in 2018.
Apart from that, he was also the lead singer of his own band ‘Flint’. He also owned a motorcycle race team ‘Team Traction Control’ which won three Isle of Man TT races in 2015.
Regarding his personal life, he dated TV presenter Gail Porter but they split later in 2000. On March 4, 2019, Flint’s body was found dead in his home. His bandmate Liam Howlett stated that his death was a suicide.
