Kelly Hoppen is a South African interior designer, author, and the owner of Kelly Hoppen Interiors. As of 2018, Kelly Hoppen net worth is estimated to be more than £50 million.
Kelly was born on 28 July 1959 in Cape Town, South Africa to Stephanie Hoppen (née Shub) and her father Seymour Hoppen. She also has one brother named Michael who owns the Michael Hoppen Gallery. Her family relocated to London when she was two years old and since then she has lived in London.
She began her career at 16 by designing a family friend’s kitchen. As a world class designer, she has designed for number of celebrities like David and Victoria Beckham; and Martin Shaw. She has also designed the homes, yachts and jets of private clients, as well as hotels, restaurants, offices and aircraft. Most importantly, she has even designed for the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William.
She launched her first e-commerce store: www.kellyhoppen.com in January 2014. That year Telegraph ranked her as the second most influential female interior designer in Britain. As a television presenter, she has her own show on Channel 5 called ” Superior Interiors with Kelly Hoppe”. She also became one of the new dragons on BBC Two’s Dragons’ Den following the departure of Hilary Devey. Hoppen has also appeared in BBC Two’s The Great Interior Design Challenge as a judge in 2017.
Hoppen has been the ambassador for the Prince’s Trust since 2012. She was also made an ambassador for UK Trade and Investment Great Campaign. Apart from that she has also published several books like Kelly Hoppen Interiors and Kelly Hoppen Design Masterclass.
