Matthew Charles Tebbutt shortly known as Matt Tebbutt is an English television presenter and chef. He is best known for presenting television shows like Food Unwrapped, Drop Down Menu, Saturday Kitchen and Market Kitchen. As of 2018, Matt Tebbutt net worth is estimated to be $5 million.
Matt was born on December 24, 1973 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire but later moved to South Wales when he was only 6 months old. He attended Rougemont School and then completed his higher education with a degree in Geography and Anthropology at Oxford Brookes University.
Matt who idolizes Marco Pierre White and Alastair Little as his greatest influence on cuisine gained experienced in food at Leiths School of Food and Wine. He owned and ran the Foxhunter restaurant in South Wales for 15 years. His restaurant has won several awards including the AA Restaurant of the Year for Wales. He has also published two books titled Cooks County: Modern British Rural Cooking and Guilty Pleasures.
Tebbutt is nowadays more focused on television rather than working at the restaurant. He started his television career presenting Saturday Kitchen on BBC One when regular host James Martin was away. He currently hosts Food Unwrapped on Channel 4. He also presented famous shows like Market Kitchen and Market Kitchen: Big Adventure.
In-addition to that, he has also appeared on Great British Menu and co-presented Christmas Kitchen on BBC One. He has also co-presented “Save Money: Good Food” alongside Susanna Reid for two seasons.
