Melinda was born on February 23, 1971 in Swindon, England. Her parents Terry and Avis divorced when she was only five years old. She went to Dorcan Technology College and after graduating, she worked as a flight attendant for Britannia Airways for six months. After that she joined a local marketing company to become a customer services manager.
Melinda then decided to switch her career to modeling instead. Her agent at the Jason Paul Modelling Agency advised her to increase her breast size which she enlarged to 34DD cup. Melinda’s career began to take off in late 1990s posing for several magazines. She then appeared on “The Sun” newspaper’s Page Three and they later hailed her as the “Girl of the Thrillenium”. Her worked was cut off after readers voted to ban model with breast implants.
Apart from that, she has also appeared on several Television shows. Her TV career began in late 1990s on series “Eurotrash” where she featured in erotic scenes acting as a nude magician’s assistant. In 1998/99, she hosted her own show called “Melinda’s Big Night In”. She has also appeared on shows like Celebrity Big Brother, To Buy of Not to Buy, Bingo Night Live, Dancing on Ice and many more.
In 2011/12 she hosted “The Health Lottery Draws” on ITV and Channel 5. In 2014, she also became a contestant on the first series of “The Jump” but she withdrew due to concussion.
Regarding her personal life, she was married to Wayne Roberts. They met at Roberts’ local nightclub in Swansea and got married on November 26, 1998. Together they have three children named Morgan Kelly, Flynn Jefferson and Evie Brooke. In November 2012, she decided to split from Roberts permanently. She is now in a relationship with Warren Smith who was her coach on “The Jump”.
