Liam Paul Paris Howlett shortly known as Liam Howlett is an English record producer, musician, and songwriter. He is the co-founder of the British electronic band The Prodigy. As of 2019, Liam Howlett net worth is estimated to be around $13 million.
Howlett was born on August 21, 1971, in Braintree, England. From childhood, he had an interest in music. He went to Alec Hunter High Scholl. Liam learned breakdancing with his crew called The Pure City Breakers and also DJed in his first band called ‘Cut 2 Kill’. After some years, he left the band and started writing his own music.
Liam Howlett and his friend Keith Flint founded the electronic music band ‘The Prodigy’ in 1990. The band also included members like vocalist Maxim, keyboardist Leeroy Thornhill and dancer, and vocalist Sharky. The Prodigy got huge popularity and fame in the early 1990s with the hit singles like ‘Firestarter’ and ‘Breathe’. Both songs peaked at the number one on the UK singles chart. As of now, The Prodigy have sold more than 30 million records worldwide and have won several awards including 2 BRIT Awards for Best British Dance Act, 3 MTV Video Music Awards, 5 MTV Europe Music Awards and 2 Grammy Award nominations.
Apart from the band, Liam released a solo album titled “Back to Mine: Liam Prodigy”. It was a collection of his favorite tunes including Prodigy track “Wake the Fuck Up”. He also produced two Dirt Candy songs, ‘Nail Em’ and ‘Advice’.
Regarding his personal life, Liam Howlett is married to Natalie Appleton. She is an English-Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress who is a member of group All Saints. Liam and Natalie have one son named Ace and reside together in Hampstead, London.
